‘Random Thoughts’

Major Food Recall

It’s too bad that a corporate head made the bad decision to ship out a product that he knew was bad. What compounds it is that the product is a component in thousands of other products — edible products — that have, because of the corporate head’s bad decision, caused deaths and severe sickness.

Lynchburg, Virginia, based Peanut Corp. of America is the peanut processing company that has been determined to be at the bottom of the salmonella outbreak that has killed and sickened people throughout the U.S. Stewart Parnell, president of Peanut Corp., according to emails to employees, released the tainted peanut products knowing they were tainted. Nothing To Wear. Really!

From looking at the fashion magazines and what’s on the catwalks today, it’s very evident that no one is considering that women of a certain age are interested in dressing fashionably. Okay, maybe I need to rephrase that. No one is considering that women of a certain age are interested in dressing age appropriately yet fashionably. Read more »

That’s pretty much as difficult as it is except: you must have a cable Internet connection and you’ll have to download software to make the VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) work. Read more »

When I Was Growing Up…

… they certainly didn’t have songs like this one by the Pussycat Dolls. Maybe that’s why it’s on my list of favorites now, a few dozen songs below Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers, which is my all time favorite. There’s a short commercial before the video starts…
